Plarn Project

This project can be done with any crochet pattern. 
You need around twenty plastic (T-shirt style) grocery or boutique bags.  I like to use all different colors.
Flatten out the bag, cut off the handle end and the bottom seam so that you have a large tube.  Start cutting at one edge, gradually increasing to an inch wide in a spiral pattern until you've used the bag up.  Keep doing the bags this way (I usually do one bag...crochet it...and strip out another bag as I go), and whenever you add another bag...overlap the ends about 3 or 4 inches...and keep crocheting.
